Luma South Los Angeles
Luma South was the second condominium of a 3 building development by South Group commencing in 2006 in Downtown Los Angeles. The construction of Luma was preceded by Elleven South the same year. And Evo South followed shortly thereafter in 2008. Luma South lights up the South Park neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles with its modern, nineteen-story construction. As one of the first ground up condominiums to go up in several years in Downtown Los Angeles, Luma South represented a new era of Downtown Los Angeles living.
The Exterior of Luma South
Far from conventional Luma South’s architecture blends angles, height, and sheer lines to create an aesthetic statement that has come to define South Park. Like its sister buildings, Luma South has a tall, slender, glass façade filling each unit with light and the vibrant views of Downtown Los Angeles.
Inside DTLA’s Luma South
Inside, sophisticated and exceptionally livable designs bring fresh meaning to the idea of the urban loft. And, underneath all of this lies a revolutionary and responsible sustainable-construction approach that creates a building as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.
Notable features and amenities of Luma South
Concrete with a conscience, Luma South was the second LEED Certified green residential building in Downtown Los Angeles after its sister building Elleven South. Luma South features a first floor gym exclusive to residents and shares an expansive pool, BBQ, and sun bathing area with its sister building Elleven South.
