Toy Warehouse Lofts

215 S Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Toy Warehouse Lofts is a mixed-use development adapted from an 80,000-square-foot, three-story building, original constructed in 1907 as a grocery store warehouse (and later a toy warehouse). In converting the building in 2001, Decoma Properties, LLC became one of the first to take advantage of the Los Angeles Adaptive Reuse Ordinance which allowed for the conversion of Downtown Los Angeles commercial buildings to live-work condominiums. The original “Toy Warehouse” sign remains on the building to this day.

The lower level of Toy Warehouse Lofts is occupied a curated specialty shop, Hammer and Spear and by the administrative offices and the student bookstore for Sci Arc, a school of architecture which has its main campus across the street. Above are 20 lofts, ranging from 1,200 to 2,800 square feet. Original brick walls and exposed-wood beams add unique character to every unit. The Toy Warehouse is and walking distance to several local restaurants and boutique shops.
